This diagnostic system for Mercedes Benz vehicles requires a PC. The "hard" of this system is the DSM-01 control box, which has two interface connectors, the 9 pin (standard RS-232 interface (COM-PORT) PC interface, and the vehicle diagnosis input/output 62 pin interface.

Included in the package with the DSM-01 are the following cables:

• 5 m RS-232 interface cable
• 1 m 38-pin diagnostics cable
• 1.5 m 4-pin diagnostics cable
• 1.5 m 16-pin (OBD II) diagnostics cable
• 3 m 14-pin diagnostics cable

This system is compatible with original DaimlerCrysler STAR DIAGNOSIS software.
